Gearhart Golf Links is an 18-hole, public course – everyone from daytrippers to pub guests to professional golfers are all welcome!  

The course, opened in 1892 as 3 holes strewn across the sand dunes, is the oldest course in the Pacific Northwest. The course retains a classic  flavor, with a hint of traditional Northwest design features. It plays 6218 yards from the back tees and 5353 yards from the front tees. Services include McMenamins' full-service restaurant and bar, pro shop, golf instruction, power carts and clubs for rent. Annual memberships are available. 

Golf Tourneys

*** General rules for ALL tournaments ***

  • 4-Player Scrambles (you may enter as a team, or any portion of, and we will find you partners) (*January event is 2-Player Scramble)
  • $55 per player paid in advance (1 week), or $65 per player the week of, or the day of (*January event is $45 per player paid in advance)
  • Fees include Golf, Prizes and 2 Drink Tickets - There will be prizes on every hole if 10 + teams sign up. If 9 or less, then prizes on every other hole
  • Carts can be reserved or rented the day of for $15 per player
  • Themes are Encouraged, but not mandatory
  • Entry forms for tournaments can be found at the Gearhart Golf Links website.
  • Completed forms may be e-mailed to Pro-Shop@gearhartgolflinks.com, or dropped off in the Pro Shop or McMenamins Sand Trap
  • Discounted lodging rates are available for competitors at the Gearhart Hotel, Gearhart by the Sea Condominiums, and Gearhart Ocean Inn
  • Tournaments are played "Rain or Shine, Wind or Sleet.....even if it's sunny and warm!"
